The show returns in style as Dr. Eli Gemstones' past is explored with surprising revelations. Some of his violent tendencies reemerge in Episode 1 as he gets involved in a bar parking lot brawl, which unfortunately concluded with Goodman ending up in hospital. I'm 69 years old so I lost my footing. Luckily, the accident wasn't severe and he appeared to make a full recovery. Over the last decade Goodman has been turning heads, not only for his performances onscreen, but also for his incredible weight loss.

While he was in his fifties, he made a vow to live life better and shed dozens of pounds, drastically changing his appearance. Goodman knows there is something of an active interest in his weight loss, and admits he knew there would be once he started losing it. He's managed to maintain his new frame in recent years, despite not being as active as he previously had been.

The multi-millionaire founder of the International Polo Club Palm Beach is being tried on charges of DUI manslaughter, vehicular homicide and leaving the scene of a crash.

He has pleaded not guilty, and faces up to 30 years in prison if he is convicted. Goodman's defense has said he was not drunk at the time of the crash, and that his car malfunctioned, speeding out of control through the stop sign. Attorney Roy Black told the court in his opening statements that his client had briefly lost consciousness after the crash and didn't know a car had landed in the canal.

Goodman went to an acquaintance's nearby barn after the crash and got drunk there in an effort to handle the pain of his multiple injuries, Black explained. Other witnesses on the stand Wednesday included the first person to call from the scene, other first responders, the woman whose trailer Goodman stopped at for help, and Goodman's girlfriend — whom he adopted as his daughter.

Safford's testimony on the second day of the trial followed that of his fellow deputy, Mitch Rieger, who also testified that Goodman had a "strong smell of alcohol.

An emergency medical technicians at the scene also testified that Goodman appeared to have been drinking. He stated that to us," EMT Robert Perreault told the court, but added that he did not believe Goodman has consumed a large amount of alcohol.

Perreault also testified that Goodman's gait was normal, but that he had a head laceration, slurred speech and kept repeating himself. Prosecuting lawyers argued that Goodman, the heir of an air conditioning fortune, was attempting to shield his substantial assets. Lawyers for Goodman's two biological children filed a lawsuit in response to their father's actions.

Of course, there is also a criminal case. Goodman faces up to 30 years in prison for manslaughter and leaving the scene of an accident. He was found guilty last month, but Goodman's legal team is currently seeking a new trial for its client.

The team alleges jury misconduct and claims that an alternate juror called one of Goodman's attorneys and said that it was "clear" that other jurors thought Goodman guilty before the trial concluded.

Goodman's team also alleged that two jurors "made false statements in order to cover up a juror's 'prejudicial gesture' and that the same juror improperly began writing a book about the case during the trial. Wilson drowned. Goodman denied being drunk at the time of the accident. However, experts testified that Goodman's blood alcohol level was more than twice Florida's legal limit three hours after the crash. Krot told the man. Angela Simmons caught fans by surprise on Jan.

Judge sustains. Judge asks lawyers to approach the bench. Jurors are talking amongst themselves. Looks like they are going over each other's notes.

Defense and state are done questioning Livernois. He is excused. Judge gives jurors a minute break. Defense alerts court that one of the jurors made a hand gesture than spoke to another juror during a sidebar Goodmantrial. Judge asks Lewis if she heard anyone talk about how they were going to vote. She says no. Lewis says she did not feel pressured to vote a certain way.

Lewis has been excused. Next witness is John Clifton. Judge asks Clifton the same questions. Clifton says he did not overhear anyone discussing how they were going to vote GoodmanTrial.
