I did download from this forum the 5. What would loading this different OS allow me to do? Or what features will I have available? If anyone out there could lend me a helping hand with this. Well, im not a very heavy BB user but ive never had my batt go dead on me but it happened! It happened once right after i fully charged my phone and it shut off within the next hour. Anyone knows whats happening??

Help please? T-mobile sent me a new one out next day, but now after 4 months the new one has started doing it. Can make calls fine with ear piece, speakerphone is working for playing music, haven't tried it for calls, and handset speaker works fine for music too, but breaks up when phoning anyoneThe second time it happened was just after okaying an upgrade.

Anyone heard of this before? I want to update my software or whatever, but I'm scared. Is it going to be complicated?

I don't want to ruin my phone. Charged the battery up and phone worked fine and I turned it off before going to bed. The phone turned on fine this morning and was showing a full charge. I did turn it off when I got to work and when I went to turn it back on when I went to lunch I got nothing. The LED glows briefly and faintly when I try to power the phone on. I tried hooking to my car charger but with the same results.

I did a search but apologies if this has been covered already I just got my new Curve from O2 UK and the software version is 4. I'm having a few issues with gmail not notifying me and a few other things, and I figure they have upgraded software for a reason! I'm having a bit of a problem updating to the latest version of firmware for my Currently I've got v4.

I've already downloaded and installed the firmware on my computer but when I try to use the App loader to install it on my blackberry it tells me v4. Any ideas why v5 won't show up when I try to install it? Okay, I've been at this for a few hours now, and I'm at wits end. I absolutely cannot upgrade from OS 4. I've tried using the app loader. I've tried downloading the specific 5. App loader says it is incompatible with the device.

Still did not help. I have also tried doing it OTA style. The damn thing says there's no updates available on this either. I've been reading through just about every OS 5 thread I could get my hands on and nothing has made this process work.

Basically ever since I updated my blackberry and I downloaded opera mini my browser isn't working. I click it multiple times and nothing happens I deleted opera mini off my phone hoping that my browser will work but still nothing.

After installing the new update. It was working until I downloaded the newest OS on thursday. Well i was just wondering if anyone can help me.. I have a blackberry curve and i want to update the phone software to the v. Its currently got v. Then it says to choose which software i want to install but only gives me the option of the software i have already on the phone or to downgrade my boyfriend has the same phone and i tried it on his yesterday and it worked saying he could install v.

I updated my to OS 5. It messed up my contacts birthdays on the calendar again just like every update ive downloaded since i got my phone , but besides that I thought everything was fine. But then, After using it for a few days, I've occassionally been unable to hear anything during calls. It works most of the time, but occassionally, when someone calls me and i pick up; it says "Connected", I don't hear anything.

Same with vice versa, when I call them, it says "Connected" and I dont hear anything. So if I install one of the leaked or official if there is one versions, will everything still work smoothly?

And where can I find the most recent OS 5 file? And where on this site are the instructions for manually installing OS versions? After doing a few battery pulls its still not working. I've done some searching now for about an hour and comming up empty handed. I have a friend with an Curve from I-Wireless. After a couple days of using it his trackpad stopped. Now to me from reading it seem that most problems lie with the series and also seems that its a software issue as a batt pull will fix it for abit.

Will updating to os 5. I have a blacberry working with Orange France. I had an error message when I pulled out the battery App Error , reset".

However, when I put my sim card working on my nokia , it doesn't work invalid. I've asked for an unlock code, but when I enter it, the BB freeze I always have 10 tries. I've tried with another simcard Orange, SFR I know this is not a major problem, however, it is one that has totally confused me. When someone sends me a text I have always had the option of either clearing the chat or deleting the chat. After the most recent update using my Blackberry desktop the deleting the chat option is no longer listed.

What could have possibly happened?
