Since going to Linux, none of my games require the CD to be in the drive in order to play. Prior to that, I used no-CD cracks as much as possible when I still used Windows, for much the same reasons as everyone else - no CD noise, no risk of breaking a CD yes, I've dropped a CD and rolled over it while trying to pick it back up , and no need to keep track of which CD wallet I put the disc in.

BossCo n00b. Joined Nov 19, Messages I still don't see why you'd use CD images stored on your HD as opposed to a no-cd crack. U just use up in excess of MB of HD space for nothing. I only use it for my games for which I cannot find a no-cd crack. Even then I try to keep it at a minimum. Not that I don't have the space I just feel its useless to clog up the HD with an image of every game I have when instead I simply replace the.
Also - there is nothing more convenient then simply clicking on the shortcut of the game you want to play and it starts. No mounting images onto 1 of you 6 virtual drives I think you'd only use images if you had concerns over games not running well with the cracked. I've experienced that a couple of times but mostly they are great.
Each to their own I suppose Mods, clarification please Isnt a no cd crack just modifing something i own, and using it for my own use not distibuting or making a proffit off of , like smashing your tail lights, cutting off the seatbelts, and driving naked, on land that belongs to you not for everyone but if its for you just keep it inside.

Im having the same issue I thought it might be because of a driver or some stupid little error somewhere hiding out of sight but no it seems to be an actual issue with the game that i hope they fix somewhere or make some small ajustment somewhere its a lot to hope for but heres to nothing.

Pretty much the same issue here however I did buy from Origin but same seems to happen with every PC version I get sound in the game but not during cut scenes when there should be narration and music.
